Bodog concluded its first-ever online poker series, the Bodog Poker Open, on Sunday, March 2nd. The Main Event attracted 596 entrants, requiring a $75,000 overlay from Calvin Ayre and his crew. The tasty odds brought the pros out in droves. The final table was like a who's who of internet poker with Jared “TheWacoKidd” Hamby and Sean “phatcat” Luman sitting pretty with oodles of chips.
TheWacoKidd, who plays under Full Tilt's banner, eventually bid the competition adieu in third position, earning nearly $30,000 for his efforts. phatcat then went on to dispatch _TheFinisher_ in second place. phatcat claimed the record-breaking $76,280 along with the championship.
