NoSoup4UUUU Denies Competition at Ultimate Bet $200K on Sunday
Ultimate Bet also saw an attendance dip this weekend. For the first time in a long while the online home of pros Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth dropped below the 900 mark. 871 peeps took to the felt in the event, requiring the site to put up $25,800 to meet the $200,000 Guarantee. Shannon “bluffforrent” Shorr and Marco “noraflum” Johnson made it to the final table. Shorr is better-known these days for his live action play, having made headlines for his play at the WSOP, WPT and Aussie Millions tournaments. Johnson, on the other hand, is still an online specialist. Last week he took fourth position in this event while finishing third at Full Tilt. (Note – this week FTP didn't hold their $750,000. We hope it returns next week.)
noraflum hit the rail in eighth position while Shorr collected $9,000 for 6th place. amak316 and NoSoup4UUUU were the last two combatants on the felt. amak's run at the tile was denied by 'Soup Nazi'.
