xPEOPLES CHAMPx Takes Down Full Tilt's Sunday $750,000 on April 13, 2008
3,707 folks made it on over to Full Tilt Poker on Sunday April 13, 2008. Although attendance was up from last week (3,551 peeps paid to play on 4.6.08), Full Tilt still had to pay out an overlay of $8,600 to meet the $750,000 guarantee.
As the final table got underway, xPEOPLES CHAMPx had the chip lead. RustySea drew first blood by taking JETNUT out in ninth place. He also took out Magma100 in eighth place. RustySea then hit a rough patch and faced elimination in fifth position. Sea was taken out by xPEOPLES CHAMPx.
At this point, the match went in xPEOPLES CHAMPx's favor. He took out everyone else including Rdgfish in an epic heads-up battle in which both players traded the chip lead back and forth. xPEOPLES CHAMPx won the day, claiming $132,788 for his efforts.
