wolf8476 devours the Competition at Bodog on June 15, 2008

Bodog saw a bit of a decline in attendance this weekend for the Sunday $100,000 Guaranteed. Only 621 players showed up for the event, down from 702 entrants the week before. This meant that the site had to pay out nearly $38,000 to meet the guarantee in the event, which was more than the prize money awarded to the first and second place finishers.

Those top two players were wolf8476 and Jeff “HB_Hitman” Anderson. Hitman cashed twice in the Bodog Poker Open, which was held back in March 2008 and has earned nearly $200,000 in online tournaments so far in his poker career. However, wolf8476, a tournament newcomer, took the title and the first place payday of $23,600.

These are the final standings:

1) wolf8476 — $23,600 2) HB_HITMAN — $13,600 3) FLA_HAWKEYE — $9,100 4) pkb6786 — $7,000 5) ismkjays420 — $5,700 6) tuzogirl — $4,500 7) dcm26126 — $3,300 8) crackin_ty — $2,200 9) alcarmo — $1,300

Bodog guarantees $100k every Sunday. Play your way to the event for pennies on the buy-in dollar. Go there now to get the ball rolling!
