udubgrrl80 Snatches Title Away from elwooddog at Ultimate Bet on July 20, 2008
903 players showed up for the Ultimate Bet Sunday $200,000 Guaranteed on July 20, 2008. That's an improvement over recent weeks. However, the online poker home of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian still had to pay out nearly $20,000 to meet the guarantee. Ian did make the final table of the event, his first appearance since joining the online poker room as a sponsored player earlier this year. He earned $3,400 for his ninth place finish.
The final two players in the tourney were elwooddog and udubgrrl80. In the end, udubgrrl80 emerged victorious, sinking her teeth into the $45,000 first place prize.
