pcyb Tops at FTOPS Omaha Hi Lo Event

Howard Lederer, Annie Duke's big brother, fresh off his first-place finish at the ninth event at the 2007 Aussie Millions where he won more than $1,000,000, hit the felt to host the eleventh event at the FTOPS VII on Tuesday night. The $200 buy-in Omaha 8/ob event drew in 1,333 which is kinda low by FTOPS standards. However, the entries did exceed the $200,000 guarantee by more than $65,000 so it's all good.

Unlike Erick Lindgren, Lederer didn't win the event. In fact the former Mayfair Club player finished out of the money. Scott Fischman, Jon “PearlJammed” Turner and Huck Seed, the 1996 WSOP Main Event champ, did make bank. Seed finished in 54th place overall, earning $613.18 for his efforts and bragging rights as the highest Full Tilt sponsored finisher.

When all was said and done, pcyb claimed the title and the $58,652 for first place.

These are the final standings:

1) pcyb - $58,652 2) Rex55 - $37,324 3) Beef_Curtains - $26,993.25 4) craigmack86 - $21,661.25 5) BrokeLad - $16,342.58 6) Jacksy7 - $11,997 7) WHENTHUGSCRY - $7,731.40 8) dgang - $5,598.60 9) Foyanchi - $3,999

Tonight, Full Tilt is hosting a $322 NLHE short-handed rebuy with Scott Clements. Satellites to this event are going on now for a fraction of the buy-in price. Visit Full Tilt Poker for details!
