eagle1829 Soars Above the Competition at the Full Tilt Online Poker Series VIII
545 players took to the felt for the $322 razz competition on Thursday May 15, 2008. Berry Johnston, former WSOP Main Event champ, was the host for this event. Johnston, who had been having a fantastic series up to this point, didn't make bank in this event. Full Tilt pros Thomas Bihl and Marco Traniello did, however.
Traniello, the hunky hubby of fellow Full Tilter Jennifer Harman, made it all the way to the final table. His seventh place finish netted him $3,597. The final two players in the stud lowball tournament were eagle1829 and Tridynamo. In the end, eagle1829 rose above his opponent to take the title and the nearly $40,000 that went along with first place.
