What a Natural – NATCH Takes Down the Bodog Sunday $100k on June 22, 2008
Although only 711 players made it to the Bodog Sunday $100,000 on June 22, 2008, the site had a marked increase in attendance from the 621 entrants from the week before. In fact this number was the most the site has seen since May 4th. Bodog paid out $28,900, which was more than the top prize, which drew out the online pros in droves. Many of the usual suspects happened to be sitting at the final table.
ychen0311, who has all four of his online tournament cashes in this event, took tenth place and $1,300 for his efforts. northwest88 made his last appearance in this tourney back in October 2007. This time he moved up one slot higher to eighth position. ChicagoBulls went from tenth place on April 6, 2008 to fifth place this Sunday, earning $5,700.
However, gfunkera went from 12th place in this event back on September 16, 2007 to second place on June 22, 2008. He made it all the way to heads-up play against event newcomer NATCH. NATCH took down the final pot, the title and the $23,600 first place prize.
