TheV0ID Disqualified from WCOOP Main Event

On October 5 th , we announced that TheV0ID was crowned the Main Event champ over at PokerStars', thus ending the 2007 World Championships of Online Poker. Unfortunately, TheV0ID and that Main Event are back in the news. TheV0ID has indeed been disqualified from the event as he “ was in breach of the PokerStars Terms of Service.”
As a result, “ All other WCOOP Main Event prizewinners in addition to the player who originally bubbled in 415th place will therefore advance one place in the prize pool.”
ka$ino, the second place finisher, has been moved up to the top spot. He'll collect $1.378 million for first place. Vanessa “Lady Maverick” Rousso jumps up from third to second, adding $250k to her take-home pay.
TheV0ID has also been banned from the PokerStars site.
The site will not release any further details “ for reasons of confidentiality and privacy.”
