PokerStars World Blogger Championship of Online Poker
Our editor, Deanna Goodson, finally made her way into the Poker Stars World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP). On Friday she finished in the top 72 of the 8-Game tournament, outlasting bloggers from all over the world. It was her third try in the event. Deanna, who fancies herself an aspiring poker pro, was thrilled to make the finale of the series on Sunday, December 21, 2008.
Deanna joined nearly 400 other bloggers in the WBCOOP Main Event. She earned a prize in the event, taking down a Step 2 ticket for a tournament entry to a satellite of her choosing.
In the end, Imric_est won the title after defeating fellow Estonian Priitk in heads-up play. Kudos to everyone who took part.
