PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) Event 3 $109

PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) Event 3 $109 action and results.

SCOOP proves yet again that there are plenty of players interested in playing poker games other than No-Limit Hold'em. On Friday, in fact, many players chose to enter an event they probably learned sitting around the kitchen table at home - Event #3 $109 Pot-Limit 5-Card Draw.

Those who put up their C-Note plus $9 also got an extra treat with a big overlay in the prize pool.

The medium-sized version of Pot-Limit 5-Card Draw attracted 756 players, creating the overlay of nearly $20,000 for the players because of the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. They had their eyes on the first-place prize of $17,630.

After nearly 11 and a half hours of play the final six were finally set.

In the end, Dmitry999 earned $17,630 and a SCOOP champion's watch for the win while wallfly got a nifty $13,000 for the second-place standing.

Final placements and payouts were as follows:

First - dmitry999 ($17,630) Second - wallfly ($13,000) Third - AnAgrAmA ($10,000) Fourth - and230750 ($7,000) Fifth - shortdaddy ($5,000) Sixth - real_deal666 ($3,000)
