FTOPS VII – urbestm8 KOs Pot Limit Omaha Competition
Event #2 at the FTOPS VII was not your run of the mill tournament. The Pot Limit Omaha competition, which drew in 1,183 players, had a $100,000 Guarantee and a $240 buy-in. Every time a player knocked out another player, he or she collected an additional $40 bonus. The tasty total prize pool of $236,600 attracted a bunch of notable players including Full Tilt sponsored pros Andy Bloch, Aaron Bartley and Steve Zolotow.
However, one FTP pro would do better than the rest. That was Scott Fishman. The young gun has two WSOP bracelets and more than $2.1 million in earnings. Always ready to share advice with his online counterparts, the affable Fishman finished twelfth in this tournament, earning $2,011.10 for his efforts.
The last person standing was urbestm8, who earned a lion's share of the prize pool after defeating KudelyKQ in heads-up play.
