Benyamine Bursts into Top Eighteen at Full Tilt PLO Tournament

David Benyamine knows competition. The Full Tilt Poker sponsored pro used to be a top-ranked tennis player. Then, he competed in billiards. Now engaged to fellow pro Erica Schoenberg, Benyamine is known as one of the best high-stakes cash game players. French by birth, Benyamine has the European propensity for Omaha Hold'em. The flop game, which requires two cards from the four in a player's hand and three from the board, is certainly one of his faves.

That's why it comes as no surprise that the talented and competitive gentleman finished strong in Event #6 at the Full Tilt Poker Online Poker Series VII. The Pot Limit Hold'em contest with a $535 buy-in was a short-handed competition. This means that no more than six players were allowed at each table. The 774 entrants shattered the $250,000 prize pool leaving $387,000 up for grabs. Benyamine, the highest finisher amongst Full Tilt's pros, received $2,825.10 for his 18th place finish.

The title went to gaffel5. gaffel5 earned over $83,000 for the win.

Here are the results:

1) gaffel5 - $83,205 2) Grumpy696 - $54,567 3) buttsauce33 - $39,203.10 4) LeoEleven - $$29,799 5) iwilleatu - $21,825 6) kwob20 - $13,545
