666 Players Enter Bodog $100k GTD on August 17, 2008
Those of you who are unaware of the significance of the number 666 should google it quick. That's how many players entered the Bodog $100,000 Guaranteed on Sunday August 17, 2008. Perhaps, the online poker room was the most freaked out by that number considering they had to pay out more than $33,000 to meet that guarantee in the event.
The final table was full of well-known players including Cory “Ozone23” Albertson, Al “alcarmo” Carmo, and Evan “Oakplayer” Schwartz. The final two players in the tournament were jjbrut and nikkiyayo. Each fought valiantly for the additional $10,000 that the first place finisher was assured. In the end nikkiyayo received the monies and the title.
