Seif Skates to Day 2 Play at the Borgata Winter Open

Day 1B at the Borgata Winter Open Main Event saw another 578 players hit the felt. This drove the prize pool up over $3,000,000 with the winner taking home more than $650,000 for his/her efforts.

Mark Seif was among the chip leaders for Day 1B. Well, he held the distinction for most of the day and wound up with a little bit over 197,000 chips in his stack when the day was done.

Hitting the rail were Shaun Deeb, Tiffany Michelle and Lacey Jones as well as former WSOP Main Event runner-up Steve Dannenmann and the ever-present Bill Gazes.

Day 2 survivors, besides Seif, include Kathy Liebert, Roy Winston and former WPT title holder Anand “Victor” Ramdin.

Nearly 700 players will take to the tables at the start of Day 2.
