Portuguese Poker Tour Online Qualifiers running now
BetfairPoker are running the Betfair Portuguese Poker Tour (BPPT 2008), which will consist of 5 events during 2008 across Portugal, kicking off with the launch tournament at the Casino Vilamoura in the Algarve. Vilamoura, one of the largest resorts in Europe and THE resort on the Algarve, is the exotic location. It is the ideal location to combine poker with golf, nightlife, entertainment and of course great weather!
The Main Event will have a buy-in of €500+€50, and will be deepstack (15000 starting chips, with one hour levels) to ensure maximum playability. There will be live satellites on the 29th and 30th May (one MTT on the 29th May and 10 person sit n go´s all afternoon on the 29th and 30th May). The BPPT Vilamoura schedule will be as follows:
• 29 May, MTT Satellite €30 No Limit Holdem with rebuys. • 29 May, SNG Satellites, €55+€5 and €110+10 • 30 May, SNG Satellites, €55+€5 and €110+10, from 16:30 to 19:00. • 30 May, 20:00 Start of Day 1 of the Main event. €500+€50. • 31 May, 15:00 Main Event Day 2. • 1 June, 15:00 Final day of the Main Event • 1 June, 15:30 Side Event: BPPT Turbo MTT. €150 Buy-in.
On the 1st of June Betfair will be able to declare the first poker champion of Portugal!
