Online Qualifier Tim Vance Takes EPT Copenhagen Crown
Tim Vance is a 46 year old resident of St. Louis, MO. The construction company owner qualified online at PokerStars to attend the EPT Scandinavian Open using only his frequent player points. The US native paid nothing to win the prize package from the online sponsor of the European Poker Tour.
He walked into the final table with the chip lead and walked away from the table, $1.2 million richer. After a lengthy heads-up match – it lasted almost five hours – with Denmark's own Soren Jensen, Vance emerged victorious.
