Irish Poker Championship Qualifiers
PartyPoker announced Thursday that online qualifications for the Irish Poker Championship were under way, with options for players to win their way to the event for as little as $3. The main online satellite run every Tuesday for $270 to buy-in. For every 25 players in the main satellite, PartyPoker will provide one seat to the Irish Poker Championship in January. The championship will take place at the Radisson Hotel & Spa in Galway, Ireland, Jan. 3-6. The €2,000 buy-in event is expected to bring in about 400 players from across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. Some of the players already expected to attend include Mike Sexton, Ciaran O'Leary, Michael Keiner, Padraig Parkinson, Bruno Fitoussi, Noel Furlong and Jan Sorensen. Click here to go to PartyPoker
