GUKPT to Continue in 2008
The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour will be continuing in 2008 and dates for the second full year have now been announced. The Tour will follow a similar format to 2007 with nine £1,000 Legs and a £3,000 Grand Final. The £1,000 main event of each leg will be 4 days long, with two starting days and will take place within a week long festival with supporting side events.
In addition, several new and exciting events will be added to the Tour including a Link Event in July. The link event is a tournament that takes place simultaneously in all Grosvenor casino card rooms. The Grosvenor Grand Prix (the largest pot limit Hold'em tournament in Europe) will also be included as a part of the tour. Blue Square Poker will continue as the tour sponsor, with significant added prize money and regular online satellites for all events. Full details will be announced shortly.
