Corey Fromm Takes Heartland Poker Tour's Running Aces Title
Corey Fromm, a part-time poker player and business owner, entered the final table of the Heartland Poker Tour's Running Aces Main Event with the chip lead. He left the table several hours later $97,000 richer as the champion of the event after defeating former HPT champ Judd Greenagel.
In the end, Fromm faced Patrick Seeb heads-up. The 36 year old cabinet maker defeated Seeb and claimed the title in what one of his opponents called “the toughest field I've ever seen in Minnesota.”
