All Africa Poker Tour Holds R3,500,000 Event from November 13 - 17, 2008
The All Africa Poker Tour, AAP, one of the richest poker tournaments on the continent, has achieved prestige status worldwide in no small part due to the fact that it draws international talent such as John Tabatabai . Tabatabai, World Series of Poker Europe 2007 Main Event runner-up, went on to win an AAP event in February of 2008. In addition, the AAP has helped launch the career of local players most notably Raymond Rahme, who won more than R21,000,000 when he finished third at the WSOP Main Event in 2007.
Recently All Africa's TV commentator, Ryan Dreyer took down a tournament of his very own. Dreyer won the Sun City Million. Since its inception, the All Africa Poker Tournament has made more than 11 millionaires at the Pigg's Peak Hotel & Casino in Swaziland, one of the most recent being Darren Kramer .
