The PCA 2008 is the first major tournament in any poker player's calendar and this year's event is set to be better than ever before. Why? The 2007 event was won by Ryan Daut, who battled through a field of 937 fellow players to eventually get heads-up with Isaac Haxton. Daut ground down Haxton's 3-1 chip lead in an epic confrontation, and eventually got all the chips in the pot holding A-10, which was good enough to hold up against Haxton's Q-8. Daut's reward? $1,535,255 in cash and a future as an online poker pro. Not bad for a day at the beach.
