Party Poker Says Beverley Pace is the Best
The Inaugural Party Poker Women's World Open, and Beverley Pace is the winner. The event, which took place in London, was held to determine who the top woman online poker player was, and Pace out paced a field of some pretty top flight talent to claim the title.
Each player put up $3,000 to play, with a few more recognizable faces including those belonging to Liz Lieu, Jennifer Tilly, and Shannon Elizabeth.
In the end it got down to Pace and Jen Mason, who was determined to win in the final hand with Ace Jack. Pace and her pocket sixes, however, won the day, and the $50k top prize.
