Event 16, the $2,500 H.O.R.S.E tourney, drew 382 players to make a $878,600 prize pool. After Chris Bjorin was eliminated in 3rd during a limit hold'em round, the two remaining players kicked it up a notch on the aggression meter. Some of the devil may care play coming from Walter Browne may be explained by a comment he made about nearly dying from neck cancer, after which he said “I'm freerolling!”
James Richburg took down the game in the end during Razz to pick up his second WSOP bracelet- the first, appropriately enough, was won during last year's Razz game.
